Campo Ceni was created to complete the stylistic approach of which Casalferro and
Torricella are important representatives. It is a relatively young wine whose quality and pleasantness come from the freshness of its fruit. Only healthy and full-ripe grapes are harvested for Campo Ceni and fermented dry on the skins. Few months in French oak will follow.
Brilliant and vibrant ruby red. Pleasant, lively, fresh. Clear fruit with slightly spicy hints in the nose. It is pleasant, tasty and easy-drinking.
grape varieties: Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
vinification: In stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 24-27°C (75.2°-80.6F), with 12-16 days of skin contact.
ageing: 80% in barrique, 20% in stainless steel
